“Bridgeport Has a Dream” is a free, youth-led, annual cultural celebration of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., sponsored by Connect-Us. The 2023 show was attended by nearly 600 people who came together to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King. Dozens of young people from across Fairfield County stepped onstage at The Klein and shared their dreams for our country – through poetry, music, dance, rap, and song – and the young people of Bridgeport led the way. In addition to youth performances from Connect-Us, we hosted performances by the Greater CT Youth Orchestras, INTEMPO, The Klein Dance Company, and Neighborhood Studios.
